
Microsol at COP27 in Sharm el-Sheihk, Egypt
With the aim of contributing to the implementation of climate solutions, strengthening alliances and promoting compliance with the Paris Agreement, Microsol has been participating in the 27th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP27), which takes place in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt from November 6 to 18, 2022.
Microsol, as an actor of change, joins the more than 30,000 participants from the climate sector, including environmental leaders, authorities, technical specialists, the private and public sectors, and civil society to contribute to the discussions in favor of vulnerable rural communities though effective and low cost climate change alternatives.
As part of the event, Microsol has been holding exchanges with potential future financing partners as well as with key partners and allies such as the Peruvian Ministry of Environment (MINAM), Gold Standard (GS) and the KliK Foundation.
The COP27 agenda aims to plan the implementation of the Paris Agreement, strengthen negotiations through technical discussions to fight climate change, and renew solidarity between countries to comply with it. The entire process this year will point to the agenda of COP28, which will seek to evaluate the collective process of global mitigation of the impact of climate change.
